Educational Symposium Objective: Provide a forum for students, parents, educators, community leaders and business professionals to discuss issues facing underserved students access to higher education. The symposium is supported by the San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles County School Districts with support and participation from local churches. Topics include SAT preparation, college admissions to public and private institutions, Historically Black Colleges as well as Ivy League Schools.  Speakers and organizers, donate their time in support of the Vines Foundation’s goals and objectives.

Each year this one-day seminar has grown in attendance and interest. In 2002 the event attracted a record number of students and their parents. 2003, the fourth annual event will offer a wide range of topics aimed at expanding the Foundation’s reach and impact in the Inland Empire.
